HTML Formatting Elements

HTML uses elements like <b> and <i> for formatting output, like bold or italic text.
Formatting elements were designed to display special types of text:
  • <b> - Bold text
  • <strong> - Important text
  • <i> - Italic text
  • <em> - Emphasized text
  • <mark> - Marked text
  • <small> - Small text
  • <del> - Deleted text
  • <ins> - Inserted text
  • <sub> - Subscript text

<b>This text is bold</b>
<strong>This text is strong</strong>
<i>This text is italic</b> 
<em>This text is Emphasized text</em> 
<mark>This text is Marked text</mark> 
<small>This text is Small text</small> 
<del>This text is Deleted text</del> 
<ins>This text is Inserted text</ins>

HTML Paragraph

The HTML <p> element means a paragraph
<p>This is the first tutorial</p>
<p>This is the 2nd tutorial.</p>

HTML Line Breaks:

<p>This is<br>a paragraph<br>with line breaks.</p>

The HTML <pre> Element

The HTML <pre> element defines preformatted text.
The text inside a <pre> element is displayed in a fixed-width font (usually Courier), and it preserves both spaces and line breaks:

<pre>
  My Rosni lies over the ocean.

  My Rosni lies over the sea.

  My Rosnilies over the ocean.

  Oh, bring back my Rosni to me.
</pre>

<p> Defines a paragraph
<br> Inserts a single line break

HTML(Hypertext Markup Language) Headings

Headings are defined with the <h1> to <h6> tags.
This heading (<h1> ) means the most important heading.

and  <h6> means the least important heading.

As for example:

<h1>Heading 1</h1>
<h2>Heading 2</h2>
<h3>Heading 3</h3>
<h4>Heading 4</h4>
<h5>Heading 5</h5>
<h6>Heading 6</h6>
